The child has one intuitive aim: self development

2nd Annual Ninja Warrior Challenge!

On October 4th at 10am, Pagosa Peak Open School’s students will compete in our 2nd annual Ninja Warrior Challenge. This year’s challenge is sponsored by Pagosa Brewing Co. and will feature a Ninja Warrior obstacle course designed by our 6th grade class.

We invite families to come show our students support as they engage in a fun and healthy field day challenge. In the spirit of true teamwork, classmates will be there to cheer each other on and help each other successfully complete the Ninja Warrior obstacle course.

As we approach this event, students are raising funds to support Pagosa Peak Open School’s capital campaign to purchase their current building. Parties interested in supporting the school are welcome to go online to the general donation page at: or drop donations off in person at the front desk during school hours.

Donations are tax deductible and go directly towards the purchase of the building to give Pagosa Peak Open School a permanent home!

As Pagosa Peak Open School continues to teach through a Project-based learning model, we encourage our students to apply learning to authentic, real-life projects that will stick with them throughout their lives. Our continued mission is to create a community of empowered, lifelong learners by providing a multi-age learning environment designed to foster confidence, high academic achievement, and the joy of learning through original and meaningful work.
