Accessibility
In accordance with Colorado’s Anti-Discrimination Act we are committed to making our services and information accessible to everyone. We continue to make improvements to our website and communication so there are no barriers to accessing information students and families need to be an active participant at Pagosa Peak Open School.
PPOS encourages individuals to submit feedback and request reasonable accommodations or modifications that will help ensure access to the services we provide. All requests are considered on a case-by-case basis and PPOS will do our best to reply to all communications within five (5) business days. Accommodations are provided at no cost. Accommodation or modification requests that would fundamentally alter the nature of the service, program, or activity, or impose an undue financial, technical or administrative burden, or pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others, may not be fulfilled as requested.
In an effort to help Coloradians remove barriers the state of Colorado has partnered with Aira to help those who are blind or have low vision get connected to professionals that can help remove barriers. Individuals are allowed one free 30 minute session to help with access to state buildings and digital services. You may access more information regarding this service by visiting the Colorado Airia webpage.
